So I'm going to write down the rules that I have read from the AFS guide.

And I will write them in RED! ;)

1) No driving

2) No drugs

3) Must attend school

4) No paid work

5) No hitch hiking

6) No interrailing... whatever that means

7) No visits from home

Well that is all of them.  Basically they say no driving or hitch hiking and you will be ok.  Just stay out of jail.  Those are the rules of the game.
